and Gabrielle d'Estrees in the Bath'. I wonder if the Duchess

On
the face of it model tests can seem to be the ideal way for
a photographer to spend a few hours. After all we get a willing,
and hopefully attractive, subject in front of our cameras; often
for free. Unfortunately the combination of an inexperienced
photographer and inexperienced model is, if not a recipe for
disaster, then surely can be one for some dire pictures. Still
